4-8 May Wine Tasting Festival (Cata de Vino). Featuring white wines from Cordoba Province's well-known Montilla-Moriles region.
12 May - 17 July Modern Spanish Sculpture and Drawing Exhibition. Vimcorsa Exhibition Center, Angel de Saavedra, 9. Mon-Sat 10:30-1:30, 6:30-9:30. Sun and holidays 10:30-2:30. free

21-28 May The Fair. Arenal Fairgrounds. [read more]. The following are scheduled events at the fairgrounds in the "Caseta Municipal" unless otherwise noted:
Sat, 21 May Cordoba Nights Serenades: traditional songs from Cordoba in the early 20th century. If you need a break from the Fair, this is a great alternative activity. 10:00pm in the Orange Tree Courtyard (Mosque)
1-30 June Exposition: "From monkey to man", a visual presentation at different stages in man's development. The Caixa Foundation Temporary Exhibition Area, in front of the AVE train station. free.
7-9 June Spanish Sacramental Theatre: "La Siega" of Lope de Vega, performed (in Spanish). 10:00pm in the Orange Tree Courtyard (Mosque). 10 euros
8-9 June OSCE Conference on antisemitism and other forms of religious intolerance. 55 international delegations attending, with Jewish, Christian and Moslem representatives. The Declaration of Cordoba is issued on conclusion.
10-12 June Spanish Sacramental Theatre: "Andrómeda y Perseo" by Pedro Calderón de la Barca (in Spanish). 10:00pm in the Orange Tree Courtyard (Mosque). 10 euros
13-14 June Summit Ibero-american Ministers of Culture. Discussions on cultural cooperation throughout the region, including Latin America and Spain.
14 June - 10 July Joan Miró exhibition. Sala de Exposiciones Museísticas, Ronda de los Tejares, 6. 7-9pm. Weekends 12-2pm, 7-9pm (?). free.
22-25 June Fourth Annual Sephardic Music Festival: A Homage to Maimonides. Artists: Maria Laffitte, Francoise Atlan, Eduardo Paniagua and Avihay Abohay. Botanical Gardens. every night at 10:30pm.
1-2 July "Huellas" (Impressions) Dancing Cities program. Contemporary dance in different open spaces around city, starting at 8pm.
2-16 July Annual Cordoba Guitar Festival. Featuring Spanish and international guitarists of renown with several concerts to choose from every night. The following are some Infocrodba picks. Click here to see Full concert schedule (in Spanish--they still haven't translated it!)

19, 20, 21 Sept Flamenco Nights. Flamenco concerts in the Alcazar. 10pm. Free entrance.
20 Oct - 20 Nov Exhibition: Shoji Ueda - A Fine Line. Ueda (1913-2000) was one of the most outstanding Japanese photographers of his age. 150 original photographs in this first retrospective exhibition to travel outside of Japan. Vimcorsa Exhibition Hall, Calle Angel de Saavedra, 9. Mon-Sat 10:30-1:30, 6:00-9:00. Sun and holidays 10:30-2:30. free.
25-30 October Animacor 2005: First Annual International Animation Film Festival. European animation producers and professionals from around Europe. Films, shorts and animated series will be competing. Based out of Filmoteca Andaluza, the regional film foundation. The organizers have not provided me with any information, but the week before the festival they posted the festival program.
28 Oct - 1 Nov QurtubaJazz Jazz Festival (announced on City Hall events calendar - to be confirmed).
7-11 Nov First Annual International Conference on the poet Antonio Machado.
19 Nov - 30 Dec Exhibition: The Hidden Documents of the Jews of Girona. Biblioteca Viva de Al-Andalus, Cuesta del Balío, 3. Mon-Fri 10:00-13:00 and 18:00-21:00. Note: There are discrepancies concerning the starting date. The newpaper reported the opening on 19 Nov, and the City Hall lists it as 23 Nov.
