1200 years ago, all the arches stood open to the sahn, today called the Orange Tree Courtyard, but were later walled up when the mosque became the cathedral. In the 1970s, many of the walls were replaced with this decorative glass work. Reproductions of oil lamps were hung in the 1990s.
